Not a good day

So today I had planned to visit Alcatraz. I was REALLY looking forward to this. However, when I woke up I felt even worse than I had the night before. I was throwing up, and had an overall feeling like absolute crap. Sorry for the too much information. I tried to get up and get to my tour for Alcatraz but I just couldn’t leave my hotel room. So there isn’t a great deal to report about what I did today except try and get over whatever I had. If it doesn’t clear up and will get myself to a doctor, but I am thinking it is a mix of some kind of gastric bug and dehydration. I got some room service to get my fluids up and thought that I should try and eat a little food. So we’ll see how I go over the next few days. Very sad to spend a day in San Francisco in my hotel room, but the most important thing is to get better and be 100% before I hit New York. I leave San Francisco tomorrow for an early bus to Yosemite, so to get through my bus trip it’s best that I try and et some sleep and get rid of whatever is wrong with me.

What I learnt about San Francisco today:

  • Not much! One thing I can tell you, take nausea tablets with you when you go overseas. I didn’t and I could have really done with them today.
